Karl Lanocha, MD: TMS
Dr. Lanocha is a neuropsychiatrist, Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry and Sleep Medicine, with over 30 years’ experience caring for patients with Treatment-Resistant Depression. Among the first physicians in the country to offer outpatient TMS therapy, he has become a nationally recognized expert in the field and serves as the Head of TMS Education. Dr. Lanocha has lectured widely about TMS, taught professional seminars, provided hands-on training to clinicians, and coauthored several pioneering papers on the therapy’s clinical application and long-term benefits.
Following his interest in the humanities and medicine, Dr. Lanocha pursued a career in psychiatry as a way to connect with patients, develop a deep understanding of their stories, and find the most advanced, evidence-based therapies to relieve symptoms and achieve wellness.
Seeking assistance for a mental health condition can be a difficult step, and Dr. Lanocha believes it’s critical that each patient feel understood and supported in their journey to wellness. He strives to understand each person’s specific symptoms, circumstances, and body chemistry, including possible contributing factors such as sleep apnea. He develops a holistic treatment plan tailored to each patient’s needs, incorporating a broad range of evidence-based treatments including TMS, mindfulness-based techniques, and sleep therapies. When the fog of depression begins to lift, he works with the patient to correct distorted thinking and help them reconnect to their resilience, joy, and sense of purpose.
Kevin Rosi, MD: TMS
Dr. Kevin Rosi is Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry and specializes in child and adolescent care, early onset Bipolar Disorder, ADHD, and eating and developmental disorders. He also has extensive experience in treating behavioral disorders, such as Oppositional Defiant Disorder, as well as impulse control and psychotic disorders.
Dr. Rosi was inspired to become a physician after witnessing the birth of his younger sister; he was deeply impressed by the role doctors played in physically and mentally assisting people through some of their toughest and most profound moments. During his medical school rotations, he found that the ongoing nature of the psychiatrist-patient relationship enabled him to develop a more complete understanding of his patients and was heartened that this work helped them to transform their lives.
Dr. Rosi believes in building a trusting working relationship with his patients through open communication and educating them about all available modalities so treatment decisions can be made collaboratively. Using a holistic approach that emphasizes pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments, including psychotherapy, neuromodulation, and developing healthy living habits, Dr. Rosi works together with his patients toward the goals of symptom elimination and restoring health. Currently, he is seeing patients ages 14 and older.
